No browser other than Safari is allowed on the iPad.

Surely the salespeople told you of the ultra-restrictive platform you were purchasing?

So, I cannot use constant contact on my iPad?????

Hello everyone.

No, Firefox is not available for iPad, and never will, unless Apple allows software like Firefox to run on iPad.

And that's a definitive no. Unless you are using a heavily modified iPad, you will only be able to use the software Apples wants you to use.

Meanwhile, you may be interested in knowing that Mozilla has plans to release a software for iPad, later this summer, that will let you synchronize your iPad browser with your Firefox, so you can share bookmarks, sessions, history, passwords, the lot really.

I am very disappointed since I asked sales rep and he said there was no problem getting Firefox.

I'm sorry for that, but you really will need to complain to those who sold you your iPad about that. I feel your pain, but the only need you can do is return it (if you still can) and if you still want to have an iPad, go buy another one somewhere else. That way you can make your point, and you will have all the options available to you, and even get a new iPad for no money! :P

Of course, this all depends on whether or not you can return your iPad, but I've done this a couple of times (with clothes only), and it works like a charm, in my experience.
