Windows 7 on Dell laptop i5 intel. Tried uninstall/install of Firefox 3.6 latest version, no change.

Pop up appears when Back button clicked - A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

Script: chrome://canitbecheaper/content/browser_wrapper.js:49

Continue or Stop don't fix the hang. I have not installed Chome.

Two replies received - uninstalled invisiblehand and all seems ok now - thanks all

I'm no expert but I've been having the same problem. Discovered after long Google searching that InvisibleHand add-on uses this script so I uninstalled the add-on. Problem fixed!

Re-installed the add-on and problem came back.

De-installed it again and problem gone.

If you don't use InvisibleHand, look for other add-ons that use this script.

I have this problem also with invisiblehand. I disabled it, and Google works now. Then I enabled it, and Google still works. I hope it works tomorrow, or later.

We've deployed a new version which fixes the issue (InvisibleHand version 2.9.1)

Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience. We went through 3 betas on the beta channel and a lot of testing and never ran into the problem. Anyhow, it's all fixed now.

Sorry again.

That's the one I enabled, again. (Version 2.9.1)

InvisibleHand, really shows me, where I can get something for less. I could not do without it.

Thank You Robin!..........Marv

I have just developed this issue with Google or Yahoo search pages. I do not have InvisibleHand installed and it only has this problem on the 4.0 Beta 12 and RC1.
