Need to update/import my Favorites/Bookmarks from old G4 onto my G5
Monitor quit on old G4 running Firefox 3.6.23, so(as no screen image) using Firewire to mount the G4 HD on my G5 running Firefox 7.0.1
Need to update my Favorites/Bookmarks onto the G5(which as laptop didn't use so much) On the Firewire G4 'Disk' opened Firefox -> 'Bookmarks' -> 'Organize Bookmarks', & in Library Window -> 'Import & Backup' 'wheel' -> Manual Backup -> filename j.son saved to Desktop of G5. 'Force Quit' the old Firefox, & opened the 7.0.1 -> Bookmarks -> 'Show All' --& in Library clicked on Import & Backup 'wheel' -> select 'Restore' -- Choose file x Manual, select the 'filename j.son' file on the Desktop(supp. a 'backup' of my G4 Fav.s/Bookmarks) -> 'Open'. This promotes a 'drop-down' that says that 'all of your prev. bookmarks will be replaced'. Click 'ok' -- nothing happens, nothing is replaced Tried several times from scratch -- no change. No Bookmarks imported. What to do?

Am not sure if what you found is different from what was initially on the Firefox search re. Bookmarks -- which didn't work, but at did manage to get them transferred to my G5, am going to mark it 'solved' so as not to take up more folks time. Do thank you for your help!
