When I try to open Firefox a error message prevents it. I am guessing that evernote has something to do with it because evernote is mentioned in the error message.

You can use one of these to start Firefox in Safe mode:
- On Windows, hold down the Shift key while starting Firefox with a double-click on the Firefox desktop shortcut
- On Mac, hold down the Options key while starting Firefox
- Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

There was an update to the Evernote Web Clipper extension on January 25th: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/evernote-web-clipper/
If you can't start Firefox, it can be difficult to determine whether you have the latest version... Did you post from Firefox's Safe Mode, or did you find a way to disable the extension?
