When I open a page it starts on mixidj.delta no matter what I do, I have reset the home page but it will not change

I have run anvast anti virus but it still does it, I have changed the homepage to default but it still opens on http://mixidj.delta-search.com/?affID=121136&b...

1st. Make sure no additional programs are installed in control panel. Look for software installed around the same date as you started seeing hijacker, something like browser protect. 2. in url bar enter : about:config. Then search for ‘browser.newtab.url’. Right-click and reset. This will make sure that the search page won’t launch on each new tab. If you see this in other browsers too, here are instructions to get rid of MixiDJ from them. 3. Scan with anti-adware programs (adwcleaner, spyhunter) . avast is relatively poor at handling these hijackers.
