The e-mail link used to be on the orange Mozilla tab on the upper left hand corner- can't open that now. I am running Windows 7 with Live Mail as my e-mail provider.

Chosen solution

There's an E-mail link button in the Customize section of Firefox where you drag it out or put it in the menu itself by dragging it from the left side into one of the slots of the right side.

Just go to The image "new fx menu" does not exist. > Customize to do this.
