I was downloading 300 messages using GET MAIL and it stalled after 200 messages. Thereafter, whenever I hit GET MAIL it indicates it is downloading 1 of 130 (or more) messages and then quickly stops indicating "no messages to download." The last message that it repeatedly downloads is dated May 29 and never gets beyond that date. Any clues how I can fix this? The messages come from Yahoo mail into Thunderbird.

Try deleting the May 29 message from the Yahoo web page. (See the 4th item here.)
