I'm on Windows 7 Pro. MacAfee virus protection. A couple weeks ago Thunderbird stopped working for this email account. When I try to get mail for this account is says it is downloading 1 of 690 messages. That message goes away and 1 message does load into another folder (the same message every time) because of a filter I have set up. Other email accounts do download fine. If I leave Thunderbird running eventually a few messages start to dribble in but in the half hour it has taken me to figure out how to document this only a handful of messages have come through. I have tried deleting the global index file. I have tried reinstalling the latest version of Thunderbird.
