Dear Thunderbird support team,

I wanted to set up a filter sending a copy of e-mails from a particular sender to another e-mail address (within the same company) but I did not find such an option. There is only a possibility of forwarding the e-mail to another address.

Would it be possible to add it in the next release please?

Thank you.

Wishing you the best of luck,

Lenka Krivankova Czech Republic

Hi,

Thanks for a fast reply and links. However, I need to send a copy AND keep the original incoming e-mail in the inbox as well. Is it possible with this add-on?

Thank you.

Lenka

The add-on has an option to 'Save message copy to Sent folder', or you can add a filter action that invokes "Move to ..." or "Copy to..." (see picture).

Hello,

I have tried the filter and it works, thanks a lot!

The name of the filter (Redirect) is a bit misleading though. I would imagine that redirecting is sending the mail to another recipient without keeping it. Naming it "Send a copy to" would express it better I guess...

Have a great day and thanks once again!

Lenka
