You can choose whether you want to delete all the cookies or only delete individual cookies from some domains in case you want to keep some.
You can also set to let all cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: Keep until: "I close Firefox"
Create a cookie 'allow' exception (uitzondering) for cookies that you would like to keep.
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: Exceptions
Clearing "Site Preferences" (Websitevoorkeuren) clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, passwords, and other website specific data.
Clearing cookies will remove all specified (selected) cookies including cookies with an allow exception that you would like to keep.

See:
"Clear the Cache":
- Extra > Opties > Geavanceerd > Netwerk > Gebufferde webinhoud > Nu wissen
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Extra > Opties > Privacy > Geschiedenis > Aangepaste instellingen gebruiken voor geschiedenis: Cookies > Cookies tonen
Wat volgt na Cookies - Cookies tonen ????
Graag feedback gewenst.
