I would like to see the messages that are in an archive file that is sitting in my Local Folders. I don't recall creating this archive. Is there a way to 'un-archive' the messages to a separate folder?

Chosen solution

Right clicking gives a limited menu that allows me to open the archive in a new tab, but no messages appear. If I look at the 'raw' file on my C-drive where it is actually stored, it appears to have a size of 85kb ( not too big), but not empty. Nothing I try within Thunderbird allows me to see the messages.

The Archives folders are just more folders, and should open just like any other folders in Thunderbird. So you can drag and drop, or use right-click then Move or Copy just as in any other Thunderbird folder.
