Set up gmail as a pop account. Not downloading all old or any new messages.

I also have configured TB so the gmail account also imports my yahoo account messages. It seems to have stared downloading old inbox messages from the past forward. I is not automatically downloading them all and it has not downloaded any new one that have arrived since I set it up.

I have to hit "get mail" and then it will just download 5 or 10 or 15 messages and I have to hit "get mail" again.

Turn off anti virus scanning of email in your internet security suite and reboot your computer and see if that speeds things up. It usually does.
