shockwave flashplayer keeps crashing
Used FF exclusively for years. Installed new FF recently, started with an unresponsive script message, which led to message of Adobe Shockwave Flash Player crash ever time I try to do anything. Tried to install newest version, actually crashed during install! Tried to reset FF, more crashing. It has become problematic to any work at all. I noticed many people with this problem have talked about switching to chrome, may have to do the same.

I've said many times that Flash is f'n ridiculous to work with on Firefox and a majority of the issues on this support site are because of that piece of crap Flash. Mozilla is in the process of building an alternative for Flash called Shumway. It's not available for daily use but is available in the very early Nightly build (not enabled by default)
It looks like Flash is already at the latest version, no?
Try disabling Hardware Acceleration.
- Go to this Adobe Flash Player Help page.
- Right-click on the Flash Player logo on that page.
- Click on Settings in the context menu. The Adobe Flash Player Settings screen will open.
- Click on the icon at the bottom-left of the Adobe Flash Player Settings window to open the Display panel.
The image "fpSettings1.PNG" does not exist.
- Remove the check mark from Enable hardware acceleration.
- Click Close to close the Adobe Flash Player Settings Window.
- Restart Firefox.
