Hi everybody. Things were going slow, so I saw a recommendation to clear my history. I first did clear 4 hours, then today, then all. This last one took a very long time, and I had to force quit Firefox.

After that it appeared to start, but did not open a window.

I followed the directions to create a new profile, and transferred bookmarks and passwords as instructed. This worked fine. All was looking good.

Then I thought to simplify things for the future by changing preferences to clear history when quitting Firefox. Now we're back to the problem again.

Looking forward to your wise counsel!
