Why doesn't the "Contact Us" page actually provide a way to contact Mozilla?

more options

I'm serious here.

What's with that?

How can someone include a "Contact Us" page that DOESN'T HELP ANYONE TO CONTACT THEM?

It's a "Don't contact us, talk to our experienced users instead of the company who made the product you want support for" link. There is no contact with the relevant "us" for it to count.

What kind of person do you want to contact? What is your question?

I see you have a couple of support threads going:

If you want to suggest changes to future versions of Firefox, you can submit suggestions on the feedback site:

https://input.mozilla.org/feedback

If you want to have a discussion with some developers about features, you can use the applicable mailing list:

https://lists.mozilla.org/

If you want support with Firefox 31, though, you are in the right place already.

obliviondoll, most open source companies do not have direct one on one contact support whether by chat, email or phone.

The "feedback" link is exactly what SHOULD be in the "Contact Us" page. Thank you, jscher2000, for providing the link. I've tried to find it myself multiple times, and while I've found references to its existence, this is the first time I've been able to get an actual LINK to the page.

That includes when I've checked the "Contact Us" option on Mozilla's homepage.

And you're right, James, most open source projects don't have a way to directly contact the creators. Most open source projects also don't have their own highly-active user community like Mozilla do. They don't have the scale of use that Firefox sees. And more importantly, most open source companies don't have a "Contact Us" page that leads you to literally everything EXCEPT ways to contact them.

Did you look in the Help menu and see Submit Feedback...?

Actually, no, I didn't. I'm used to "Help" being the place to find poorly written online manuals and an "about" page that doesn't help with anything worth knowing. Good to know there's something actually worthwhile in there for Firefox.

That doesn't address the problem of the only real method of actually contacting Mozilla not being available on the "Contact Us" page on Mozilla's website though.

Mozilla is very decentralized operation and the Contact page offers a lot of choices if you scroll down past the big map (screen shot attached). Unless someone wants to fund a central switchboard, it's likely to remain a challenge to hit the best link the first time.
