anyone have suggestion on how I can get the java download to install on my laptop? I am able to download the file jre-7u67-windows-i586.exe but when I click on it to execute the file nothing happens. My laptop is running Windows 7 32 bit operating system. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I am sorry to hear about your issue. As far as I am concerned, this is not directly a Firefox related issue. Java is a platform that is used by any browser on your PC, but you are absoultely right to keep it up to date. Please consider the following; the problem may be caused by not running the file with administration rights or other instances of java are still active and you can end them in the task manager.
