Home page continually loads unless I stop the process.

MacBook running OS X and Firefox 31.

When my home page loads there is a blue clockwise rotating circle in the tab. The page completes and that circle changes to the icon for the site but then is quickly replaced by a counter clockwise grey circle that never quits until I click the X at the right end of the address bar. This only happens on my home page, all the other pages load just fine.

Uhm, if that just started to happen, maybe the website itself is participating in the net neutrality protest today and showing its' support with the "loading" icon to demonstrate where the web might be headed - slow loading for websites that don't pay for priority handing of their content.

No, this has been going on for a while but I have just now gotten around to asking for help on the issue.
