How can I filter messages that do NOT contain a specific word in the subject?

I want to do the opposite of what filtering normally does. I want to filter out messages that do not contain a word or a string. For example, I want to display emails that do not contain the word "meeting" in the subject. Is this possible? If so, how can it be done?

It's not built in. The TotalQuickFilter extension allows NOT and lots of other filter features: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/totalquickfilter/
