My Firefox screen frequently goes black (sometimes it feels like it is initiated by scrolling, other times it just happens without any seeming input). The screen will flicker without a discernible pattern and sometimes go back to normal, but not often. Most times firefox just crashes. Crashes also occur regardless of the black screen issue. Typically, my FireFox is crashing every few min. It is basically unusable.

here are my last 10 crashes:

Do you have omtc enabled in about:config?

It looks like an old bug is associated with it and the last patch decreased the frequency of crashed. However it does not mean it has fixed for everyone.

Since it is unstable can you please try the following troubleshooting: Try Safe Mode Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode Try disabling hardware acceleration and update your plugins. Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL

Sorry to be short, happy to help with your reply.
