when it was recommended to abandon internet explorer, I tried to download mozilla firefox. I don't know why, but something did not allow it. In the meantime
we had to cancel our internet subscription and I sent internet explorer to the trash. Now we are trying internet tv but have no browser. I think intenet explorer can be recovered from the trash, but is it safe to use it? Could I recover it just to download mozilla firefox than delete it again? We have Windows xp, why wouldn't mozilla work earlier?

I do not know why id may have not worked in the past, however if you are worried about it I would recommend asking a friend to help you download Firefox. It may require another browser and these instructions: How to install Firefox on Windows
