If you know the name of the virus, we might be able to direct you to a site that has specific instructions. If you do not know, first check your list of downloaded applications in Windows Control Panel > Programs and Features and look for any suspicious applications - if you group by date the program might be easier to expose since malware tend to come bundled with other applications. Also check your extensions for anything suspicious by entering about:addons in the address bar, or:
