I manage several Facebook accounts. I changed the password for one of them, and removed the old password from Tools/Options/Saved passwords. Now when I try to log in to Facebook, I only have the other accounts available, and when I log in manually to the account with the password I deleted, I am not given the Save Password prompt. I have been through all the help articles and none of them seem to address this issue. Can anyone please help?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
