I was downloading a file, when I accidentally clicked the "Do this automatically..." box when I try to click the ok button, how do I change it back to the way it was. [asking to open with or save]

Hello,

You can change it back by going to:

  • Tools (or New Fx Menu) > Options > Applications
  • Scroll to the Content Type that you want to change back
  • Under the "Action" Column, change to "Always Ask"

If you can't find it there then you will have to rename (or delete) the mimeTypes.rdf file in the Firefox profile folder to reset all file actions.
