I can't login to my school website anymore since I have updated my firefox to 34.0.5. I have deleted the cert8.db, and still having the same issue. Please Help! Here is the error: Unable to Connect Securely Firefox cannot guarantee the safety of your data on my.saintleo.edu because it uses SSLv3, a broken security protocol. Advanced info: ssl_error_no_cypher_overlap

A possibility is to use this extension to enable SSL3 temporarily only for a website that needs SSL3.

I have tried the above solution but it didn't work. I still have the same error, now on two different computers, since I have updated Firefox. I have attached a pic where you can notice the link where I'm suppose to click on, is in a different area. from Firefox to Chrome
hello regba123, ssl3.0 encrypted connections can be no longer considered secure since an attack vector against them ("POODLE") has become known. please contact the webmaster in charge of your school's site and urge them to update the encryption to something contemporary. https://blog.mozilla.org/security/2014/10/14/the-poodle-attack-and-the-end-of-ssl-3-0/
if you want to re-enable ssl 3.0 in firefox you can do that - however keep the consequences in mind, that you will become vulnerable to the attack mentioned above: enter about:config into the firefox address bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up) & search for the preference named security.tls.version.min. double-click it, change its value to 0 and restart the browser.
You should however not keep this preference set at zero as otherwise you may think you are safe on secure site even when any sites still using the old vulnerable SSL 3.0 is in use.
