With the Mozilla Firefox browser, we have been able to open emails from our www.charter.net email account with no problems until this week. We can get to www.charter.net, but can't open email using this browser. This same email account is accessible in Internet Explorer. What needs to be done, to get this fixed? And, please, I'd like to have a real answer, not the "have you read our FAQ" run-around.

Hi kkuehnle,

Sorry you're having trouble.

I'm not a Charter user myself, but I understand they've recently redesigned their website. Your problems might be a result of Charter's redesign - so you might need to contact them. Alternatively, when you have issues with a specific website, you could try reporting it at webcompat.com.

Nonetheless, let's see what we can do to help.

The web address for Charter's email login is: https://www.charter.net/login/?target=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.charter.net%2Femail%2F

When you try logging in here, what happens? You said it works okay in Internet Explorer. What is it that's not working in Firefox? Do you see any error messages or unexpected behaviour?

Anything you can do to describe the problem in greater detail would be very helpful.

In order to better assist you with your issue please provide us with a screenshot. If you need help to create a screenshot, please see How do I create a screenshot of my problem?

Once you've done this, attach the saved screenshot file to your forum post by clicking the Browse... button below the Post your reply box. This will help us to visualize the problem.

Thank you!

Jayelbe

PS - Almost everybody at Mozilla Support is a volunteer. We're all real people - so if you see us asking people to read the FAQs it's not because we're not trying to be helpful, it's just that we can be pressed for time. :)
