How do I update plugins

I'm, on Windows 7, running Firefox 34.0.5, which is currently the latest version.

The Silverlight, Shockwave Flash, and Java Deployment plugins all say they are potentially vulnerable. They all have an Update Now action available. Clicking on the Update Now button does NOT update them. All three just take me to pages listing release version information or something, with no clue how to actually update them. Why doesn't the button Update Now actually update the plugins, or at take me to a site where I can download the update?

Well Plugins are not actually installed in Firefox but are on system and Firefox is making use of them. This explains why there is no way to uninstall Plugins from Firefox, only activate/deactivate which tells Firefox to make use of it or not.
