Hi there,

Understood! We don't like being bombarded with advertising any more than you do.

If this is happening every time you open Firefox, it might be that Mozilla tab has also been set as your homepage.

To check this:

  1. Click the menu New Fx Menu button, press Options
  2. On the General page you'll a box labelled Home Page
  3. If the Mozilla web address is included in that home page box, delete it.

Let us know if this fixes the issue. Cheers!

You can also check for problems with preferences.

If you do not keep changes after a restart or otherwise have problems with preferences, see:

Delete possible user.js and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename (or delete) the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in the current Firefox release.
