Hi, I use Firefox on all of my windows o.s. based computers, it's so much more customizable than ms internet explorer is and considerably faster also. Of course I realize that android is much different than windows, I'm trying to use Firefox for android on my lenovo android tablet, but I really don't like it. If I could get it to look similar to what I see when I use the browser with ms windows, it would make using it on my android tablet so much easier. Does anyone else share this same thought, and if so... what can be done to correct this ? Thanks, David

hello david, mozilla is working on a redesign of the interface for android tablets: http://lucasr.org/2014/12/03/new-tablet-ui-for-firefox-on-android/

this change will land in firefox 36 - if you use the firefox beta version that is available in the google play store you should see this new design in about 2 weeks.

Will the 'redesigned' interface have an actual home button, like it does when I use firefox in ms windows ?

No. Firefox for Android does not have a home button.

Hi kbrosnan, Thanks for a reply..I'm trying my best to 'like' the firefox for android browser, up until now..I had been using this browser: http://dolphin.com/ if you will take the time to check it out, you will see..at least in my opinion, that it's SO much more customizable than firefox for android is. Thanks, David

Hey you can check out Firefox 36's new features right now (in aurora) for android: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/#aurora

Caution: "Aurora" is not an official version of Firefox and may crash often / be unstable!

Hi Ererer, I would REALLY enjoy using firefox for android on my tablet a LOT more if it looked similar to the way it looks on the computer I'm typing this reply on, of course I'm using my laptop with ms windows 8.1 installed on it. Thanks for the reply.. I guess at least for now I'll have to go back to the browser I was using on my tablet (Dolphin). Thanks, David
