I installed firefox and wanted to open it but only appears on the taskbar so i know that it's active cause when i hold my arrow on it it let's me see a the small version of what the normal window would look like but when i click on it it doesn't do any thing .

I tried removing and re-installing firefox but didn't help . I also tried to op it as administrator and that doesn't work either .

I'm using windows version 8.1 / 64 bit controling system, does that have anything to do with it ?

kind regards Firebee

I am guessing that there is an auto hide feature turned on for your taskbar:

Try this: "Reset taskbar to normal, open FF maximised then set auto hide."

You can also try to open the system menu via Alt+Space after having restored the Firefox window in case the window is off screen or otherwise hidden.
