A stable Youtube Center addon?

I am using Youtube Center: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/youtube-center/

(To solve various Youtube issues, such of a lack of preloading)

The addon is great on Chrome. In Firefox, it's terrible. It off-centers the video (so I can't see half the video), the progress bar is off (hits 100% when I'm still watching the video), etc. You can check the reviews on this addon and see many others have similar issues.

What is wrong with this addon? Can it be fixed, or is there an alternative?

This might have to do with the ad that is trying to load. Please contact the developer of the add on to troubleshoot the issue further. It is also preliminarily recommended. This means that it is not fully compatible yet.

Maybe try this: use an add blocker, and enable ads in the youtube center. However I cannot guarantee this working.
