January 5, 2015 @ 430 AM ET: Crash ID: bp-e15a7ffc-1939-4fe9-ae9b-96e722150105

January 12, 2015 @ 5 PM ET: No Crash ID. Instead the following message - "The application had a problem and crashed. Unfortunately, the crash reporter is unable to submit a report for this crash. Details: The application did not identify itself."

Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit. I tried a clean install after an upgrade was unsuccessful. No luck. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Chosen solution

I solved the problem myself. I uninstalled Mozilla Firefox and the Mozilla Maintenance Service via the Control Panel. I then deleted both directories from Program Files. I rebooted the computer and reinstalled Firefox. It now works again.

That was very good work. Well Done.

The crash reports come with several pages of information. One of those pages is a list of programs running on your system. Sometimes, a program in flagged, meaning it is causing a problem. Looking up the owner of that program can tell you what the parent program is. Sometimes it just needs to be updated. No Personal Information Is Collected.
