When visiting the site "www.xe.com" and various sub-pages of this site, the text "connecting to a.tribalfusion.com" appears at the bottom left of the browser page. It then takes as much as 90 seconds before the actual site appears. When entering the text "a.tribalfusion.com" in Google I see that it seems to be spyware or a tracking cookie. Software to get rid of it is advertised but I do not know whether I can trust it.

Chosen solution

a . tribalfusion . com is in the script of xe . com xe might use some of their functions, probably to customize ads, tribal.... places a tracking cookie on your pc and can give xe knowledge about your interests thus getting better hit rates on the ads.

delete and block a.tribal.... from having cookies on your pc.
