Thunderbirds freezes when getting RSS messages
After moving to a more powerful PC i was very surprised to experience Thunderbird freezing and hang periodically. Impossibile to write o click anywhere for seconds every once in a while. After some investigation I found out that it happens when TB start getting messages from the many RSS feeds i subscribed. I never had this problem on old PC with the same feed subscriptions and probably an older version of TB. During the problem there is a heavy disk access and the image shows what Windows Resource Monitor reports.
Any idea or suggestion?

No, I have no AV, Antimalware or Firewall running
