I wanted to transfer my thunderbird files to a new location using the Profile Manager but there is none on my PC, what shall I do ?

I wanted to transfer my thunderbird files to a new location using the Profile Manager but there is none on my PC, what shall I do ?

Chosen solution

Is it a typo thunderbird.exe" -P with the " after .exe? And don't enter it in search but in run. You can enter the full path (this time you need to enclose it in " ") "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird\thunderbird.exe" -Profilemanager

Profile Manager doesn't move it for you, it only lets you create a new profile. And although it is possible to move your profile, it is not recommended. Why do you want to move it?

I am running out of space on C drive (because of Windows) and I copied all my files (profile) to another drive and now I want to point the Profile Manager to that location, but I have NO Profile Manager. There is no thunderbird.exe" -P on my drives. Shall I reinstall Thunderbird ?

ok, here is what it says : Restoring to a different location

If the profile folder names do not match or if you want to move or restore a profile to a different location, do the following:

Completely close Thunderbird, as explained above.
Use the Thunderbird Profile Manager to create a new profile in your desired location, then exit the Profile Manager. AND I DON¨T HAVE THE PROFILE MANAGER. How can I fix it? I want a Profile Manager !!!

solarhouse make sure Thunderbird is completely closed/exited first before trying to start Thunderbird with Profile,Manager.
