Chosen solution

The Norton toolbar extension which ties in with the Norton antivirus has to be update for each new Major Firefox version.

Norton will likely have a new toolbar update on day of or before after Firefox 37.0 Release at end of March.

About the only good thing about Norton is that they have updated their Norton toolbar extension to ready with a couple days ever since Firefox 5.0 while other antivirus that provide extensions struggle to do so.

hi eastiemm, according to norton the toolbar is already compatible with firefox versions including the current release version. please run the norton liveupdate utility repeatedly & until all components are up-to-date. in addition make sure that the toolbar is enabled under firefox > addons > extension afterwards.

I once had a Norton tech check my system because the toolbar would not show up in Firefox. If was discovered the problem was a registry error. Once it was fixed, I had no trouble.

When I had the problem again, I was able to do the repair myself.

Contact Norton Support, or I can tell you what to do.
