I just updated to the new firefox and all of my sessions are now blank or possibly corrupted and it only says how many tabs i have in each session ,but i cannot click on "recover session". Can i roll back the 36 version ,or is it a problem with session manager not being compatible with the new version ? How can i recover my previous session at least?

I can see the backup.session files , they say they have 20 000kb or so ,but... how do I read them properly with session manager?

When I click on a few of the session to see what tabs they contain within session manager, firefox actually crashes.

Also when I start firefox, everything is slow to load up... the addons ,everything...

To reiterate , I want to fix my sessions and my session manager, because I think I do have access to most of my tabs through another backup and potentially through a text editor ,but the new firefox update has created these discrepancies and I want to know how to bring everything back in order and specifically my sessions that are just showing a blank space within the session manager addon

Would windows restore help in this situation in any way?

What happened was without any pauses in between: update firefox to 37.0 from 36 ,then close firefox, reopen firefox - blank sessions in session manager

Also, when I open ffox, it takes a while for the addons to load, and when I close the session manager window, then they load fully ,but not before that

Would going into safe mode help at all? The sessions are on session manager, I don't think I can access the firefox default sessions

There was also the inability to take a screenshot of firefox for a while, and somehow I managed to fix that.

Also when I went to export my bookmarks, it would load up to 6000kb or 11000kb and the bookmarks export would then disappear. After I went to safe mode, I managed to export my bookmarks.. Overall much better performance under safe mode, but I want my sessions and everything else

Somehow I can't even do a febe backup when my addons are on, I disabled most of them ,but still to no avail, I will try disabling more, cause obviously it was the addons stopping the bookmark backup before

I think maybe removing some of the addons has caused febe to work a bit more properly ,it has managed to backup about 400mb of the 600mb of the information I want it to backup ,but it's just now hanging on that loading window at 100% for about a half an hour or so

Febe is unable to export these 3:

bookmarksFx36.0.4(FEBE8.6){}.html bookmarksFx36.0.4(FEBE8.6){}.json Results - FEBE 2015 03-30 22.00.04.html

I will additionally check to see if there's discrepancies between file sizes

I guess i finally managed to make a full febe backup ,but my profile needs another 100mb to be the same as before

Does anyone know how I can check to see what specifically is missing from two different profile backups?

more options

This might be larger or more JSON backups in the bookmarkbackups folder or possibly leftover files from previous Firefox versions that were still present in a profile folder that has been used for a longer time.

Download Status Bar addon was interfering with session manager
