A few days ago I was using my laptop when using the internet a lot of popup ads covered the screen. All "powered by name". I ran downloaded malwarebyte asking with some other free products but nothing worked. Right now I am running spyhunter 4 in an effort to remove this pain in the A$$ adware. Nothing showed up in task Mgr or the programs. What can I do? It takes over my machine. Help

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one. Windows 8 has antivirus built-in already.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
