Please be specific as to what I should do next. Are those programs at fault? How do I fix them if they are? Already making plans to change to another browser unless i can get this fixed soon!!
You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration
Also check for updates of the graphics display.

Perform a System File Check to fix corrupted system files http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html
See if there are updates for your graphics drivers https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration
So what does THAT mean - How do I make it stop happening????
Simply sending me file names does not help!!!
I ran the scan now 3 days ago and it did not find any issues... AND I updated my graphics drivers and nothing would run. Even internet explorer crashed. I had to roll back my whole system.
Did the roll back work? If it did, Please flag your last post as Solved Problem so other will know.
In case your Firefox program folder has become corrupted during an update or uninstall/reinstall, could you try:
Clean Reinstall
We use this name, but it's not about removing your settings, it's about making sure the program files are clean. As described below, this process does not disturb your existing settings. Do NOT uninstall Firefox, that's not needed.
(1) Download a fresh installer for Firefox 37.0.1 from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ to a convenient location. (Scroll down to your preferred language.)
(2) Exit out of Firefox (if applicable).
(3) Rename the program folder
(64-bit Windows folder names)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
to
C:\Program Files (x86)\OldFirefox
(32-bit Windows folder names)
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
to
C:\Program Files\OldFirefox
(4) Run the installer you downloaded in #1. It should automatically connect to your existing settings.
Any improvement?
Note: Some plugins may exist only in that OldFirefox folder. If something essential is missing, look in these folders:
- \OldFirefox\Plugins
- \OldFirefox\browser\plugins
Still crashing - I have done all this above AND MORE!!! When I turn on Falsh for always activate - It is worse. and ESPN clips dont play and neither do youtube videos . If I turn off Flash -- Pandora wont play, but ESPN clips work ( I have since converted youtube to HTML5 so that is OK. Yahoomaps crashes Firefox. I've about had it with this.

Please tell me what to do - don't just send me the "problem dlls"
Firefox Version 37.0.1
dlumd32.dll = DisplayLink Core Software
igd10umd32.dll = Intel(R) Graphics Technology
Firefox v37.0.2 is available
You had rolled back your system, did you check for updates after?
If you have problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions then check this:
- see if there are updates for your graphics drive drivers
https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration
- disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)
https://forums.adobe.com/message/4468493#TemporaryWorkaround
- disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

Looks like the libX11 on LINUX is aborting in case of certain system calls fail instead of returning an error code...
