Ive just changed from using Windows Live Mail on a Windows 8 laptop, can't find anyway of migrating my huge contacts list across to Thunderbird or saving a sender's email address to the contacts list. can someone help please.

saving is as simple as clicking the star beside the name in the header.

Where is your contact list stored? Windows contacts perhaps?
