I've tried to follow the instruction for installing Thunderbird on a Mac. Have used on Windows for many years. Working on a Mac now and need to install and open the profile.

Your instructions say to locate the profile you click on "help". When one does that you're taken to the Mozilla support website, not help on my local machine. I've installed Thunderbird now several times but it does not seem to create a profile/folder.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks so much

Yes it does create a profile, as soon as you start the program. No profile ends in a nasty gram about a missing profile.

The help menu has Help, Troubleshooting information, whats new , release notes and about.

Choose the troubleshooting information. Click the button that tells you it will open the profile folder in the troubleshooting information.
