Lastest FF 38 now allows me to easily disable FP protected mode which seems to cure my quite frequent FP crashes. The question I have is just how vulnerable will I be if the protected mode is disabled? I've been using FF with FP disabled for quite a while now with little inconvenience since almost everybody is using HTML. I would appreciate anyone's comments. Thanks

It obviously isn't as secure, but in the real world (as long as you keep flash, your OS, Firefox and your anti-virus up to date) it won't have a significant impact on your security. just stay smart online and use your common sense, don't install or click on things that look too good to be true.
