Go to the "check your plugins" page and it says "Looks like you’re using an older version of Firefox." with a big green "Update your firefox" button. Yet when i go to Help > About it says i am on 37.0.2 and firefox is up to date?

There is a new version of Firefox (38) but it has been pulled from release for a few days to fix a crash. Check for updates in a day or two to get the most recent version.
