I installed Thunderbird on my Dell laptop (Windows 7) and it did not install correctly. It showed up on my programs and features along with Firefox and another Mozilla program I did not recognize. I was able to uninstall Thunderbird and the unknown Mozilla program, but Firefox will not uninstall. I click on uninstall and the cursor just blinks a couple of times. Nothing else happens. I did a search of my laptop and cannot find it anywhere. I do not have enough savvy to go into the register. All help appreciated.

Mozilla does not bundle Thunderbird and Firefox together.

Possibly you used some rogue site and may not even have got genuine Firefox & Thunderbird,& could have had all sorts of other unwanted stuff.

You should not need to edit registry content to uninstall Mozilla software, and it is generally a bad idea to go near the registry unless you are absolutely certain what you are doing.
