This is a frequent request, and it causes your users to click "Allow" over and over.

Please don't repeat the claim that this is an Accessibility choice. This is answering a user request for change by saying the current unpopular behavior is a "feature."

This setting would be more appropriate in the Options/Security/General settings. It could be right under the similar setting of "Warn me when sites try to install add-ons." And just like that option, it should have an Exceptions box.

I want the warning to be active, but I also want to turn it off for sites when I know it's okay to redirect. I do not want to choose between giving up the warning vs. clicking "Allow" all day long!

You can't deny the history of this feature as an accessibility feature to help avoid confusing screen reader software.

It is woefully incomplete as a possible security tool, since there are many ways to redirect and the feature only addresses a few of them.

You might have better results finding an add-on to do the job instead of trying to fix this feature, but if you want to propose feature changes, a good place to do that is this page:

This meant an an accessibility feature and in such a case you do not want to have exceptions.

You would need an extension if you want this to behave as a security feature.
