Some sites installs malware on clicking in free space. It is installed in the system as well as extensions in firefox. This issue is not present when I use chrome or opera. Serious security lapse. The installed programs are awkwardly named such as : "loowest Pricees", "cool ooffers" etc. The latest one was stunning :"addbloccck managerr"

Unfortunately, malware is often designed to target certain software programs. I'd suggest a few things to improve your security.

Also, make sure to keep common internet safety standards, keep your operating system up to date, and don't click or install things that you don't 100% trust.

If you want to give me the about:support information from your Firefox (type that into the address bar and press enter), if you still have these extensions installed I can get them blocked from being installed on ANY Firefox user's system ever again.
