Recently installed. Get as far as Google pages but when I click in the link I get this error message

You have chosen to open: UK Which is applicatio/octet-stream From: name of site

What should Firefox do with this file?

That's very strange. If you long press the link you want to follow, copy it, and paste it somewhere that you can see it, such as new document in QuickOffice or an email message, does it show anything unexpected?

Google results tend to have "exit" tracking so sites you visit can be stored in your web history (and probably it's there for other reasons as well). Just wondering whether that is malfunctioning.
