Why do you have to retrieve them? Can't you just reset them with your e-mail adres? It is way safer. Resetting your password gives you the opportunity to change them which is always a good idea from time to time

Did you reset/refresh Firefox and have created a new profile?

If that is the case then you should have an "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop that holds your previous profile folder.

When you reset/refresh Firefox then a new profile is created and some personal data (bookmarks, history, cookies, passwords, form data) is automatically imported. The current profile folder will be moved to an "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop. Installed extensions and other customizations (toolbars, prefs) that you have made are lost and need to be redone.

It is possible to recover data from the old profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems. For the passwords you would need the logins.json and key3.db files.

You can also try to restore a previous version of the logins.json and key3.db files.

You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:

please be polite to people who are trying to help you in their free time, if you respond like that to everyone who tries to help you for free you will get ignored really fast, also, which idiot doesn't remember which sites he has to visit, if you need something, go to that site, click the forgot password button and reset it assmonkey
