No matter what I tried, the search result thru Google Search engine is too bold and too big. It doesn't happen like that when I used Yahoo! Search Engine. Also, the font is also bold and big for my facebook.

Please advise how to correct this issue.

Hello jk86, Thank you for responded to my question. However, your method wasn't working for me. I tried all possible methods:

1/ Restore default fonts setting: no work 2/ Ctrl+0: no work 3/ Ctrl + mousewheel: no work 4/ Modified layout.css.devPixelsPerPx: no work....

I believed many out there experience such issues recently. And here is my fixed:

This will happen to most of people who installed thousands of fonts (like me). The fonts folder has some crashed/corrupted fonts and unable to repair. Therefore, the FF failed to locate its working fonts and replaced/used the next working set. If you have an extra laptop/PC that also run Windows 7 (if not, you might want to look around for one - try not download from internet, to prevent download another/again corrupted one.):

1/ Just copy the uncorrupted fonts folder from that working machine onto your flash drive first. 2/ Then, go to: C drive (or whatever drive you installed OS on), navigate to Windows, then Fonts. 3/ Make a back up of your font folders on the current corrupted folder machine to another by Right Click on Fonts, then Click on Copy. 4/ Minimize all your current active windows. Or better yet, close them all. 5/ Right click on your Desktop and hit Ctrl + V or Right Click on Desktop and Click on Paste - This to paste/make the Fonts Folder as back up on your desktop. 6/ After make a back up of the current corrupt fonts folder, go back to your C drive, Windows, Fonts, open Fonts Folder, hit Ctrl + A to select all, then right click and DELETE. 7/ Click OK to apply or to skip to all the fonts when the windows asked for permission. This might happened since they are system fonts and you won't able to delete it. And, for sure one of these fonts were already corrupted that caused by other fonts. 6/ Then, go to your flash drive, open up the fonts folder, hit Ctrl + A (Select All) and do a clean install. 7/ Shut down your browser and reopen it.

This will fix your issue.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.
