My email in outlook.com has been frozen for at least 30 min due to unresponsive script msg in firefox. Help

Lately I'v been receiving unresponsive script msgs in outlook.com emails with 3 choices to solve issue. . .have tried each of 3 buttons and none seems to work. Previously have refreshed Firefox. . .still same issue. We now my computer is frozen in the email with the same unresponsive script msg for at least 45 min now. . .so can't closeout email. . .browse or anything. I can get IE to work just fine but prefer Firefox. I'm not too computer savy. . .have copied down how to clear cookies and cache and how to add YesScript. . .but with screen frozen. . .cannot even do that! Now what? I have included a image of the troublesome msg. . . but its taking forever to load so here it is

In choices at bottom of this screen for troubleshooting (1) auto did not work. . .(2) there is no "help" button to press?

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

  • Clear the Cache and
  • Remove Cookies
    Warning ! ! This will log you out of sites you're logged in to.

Type about:preferences<Enter> in the address bar.

  • Cookies; Select Privacy. Under History, select Firefox will Use Custom Settings. Press the button on the right side called Show Cookies. Use the search bar to look for the site. Note; There may be more than one entry. Remove All of them.
  • Cache; Select Advanced > Network. Across from Cached Web Content, Press Clear Now.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode;

Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.

Under Advanced, Select General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.

Poke around safe web sites. Are there any problems?

Then restart.
