Is there an alternative player that I can use in place of Adobe Shock Wave Flash Player that I can use to watch You Tube videos?

Right now I am unable to update my Adobe Flash 17 version because it is blocked by Fire Fox..

Is the problem that the videos are made using Flash and therefore Flash must be used to watch them?

You should still get click to play for the older versions which are vulnerable.

Only the current 18.0.0.209 and 13.0.0.309 ESR are not on blocklist by Mozilla https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/blocked/ for Windows. https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html

Since you use the EOL Windows XP and depending on hardware specs, you may find the 13.0.0.309 ESR to work better however it is a bit overdue compared to previous ESR branches in getting a new ESR branch.
